Thibault joined Local 22/44 News in May 2015. She is a co-host and Chief Meteorologist of ‘This Place in History. Her passion for all things earth science-related dates back as far as she can recall. When she was young, she always had her eye on the sky and told everybody she would one day be either an astronaut or a meteorologist.
Her first formal pursuit of a job in atmospheric science commenced during high school when she finished The St. Petersburg College Executive Internship Program at WFTS ABC Action News in Tampa, FL. She also worked as a weekday evening weather producer at WFTS while obtaining the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
She was the only meteorologist and weather director at KMOT-TV NBC North Dakota News in Minot, North Dakota from Sept 2012 to May 2015. While there she filed her severe weather forecasting skills and got her first taste of winter and boy, in the northern Plains, it was fierce.
She received a position as the morning meteorologist at Local 22/Local 44 News (WVNY/WFFF) in Burlington, Vermont. In Aug 2019, she was upgraded to Chief Meteorologist.
