Ben Sherwood (Full name: Benjamin Berkley Sherwood) is an illustrious American journalist, writer, and producer. He is popularly known for working as the President of ABC News and Disney-ABC Television Group from January 2015 to March 2019.
Furthermore, Ben has published numerous famous books including The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud (2004) and Untitled (Sherwood) Sequel (2018). He is an active member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Public Integrity in Washington, D.C, and a board member of City Year in California. Additionally, Ben is an active member of the Council on Foreign Relations in New York.

At the station, he hosted along with Sam Donaldson and Diane Sawyer. He was part of the anchors on the ABC News Team that encountered the sniper fire in Sarajevo, Bosnia in 1992.
Later in 1997, he joined NBC’s Nightly News with Tom Brokaw as an ultimately the Senior Broadcast Producer, a Producer, and Senior Producer where he was available during coverage of the September 11 attacks. After serving for 5 years, Ben later left the station in January of 2002.
In April 2004, Ben was commissioned at ABC as an Executive Producer of ABC’s Good Morning America. After serving in that position for 6 years, he was later promoted to President of ABC News in New York.
