After he retired from the NHL, he was brought back to play the Bruins organization on their minor league companion the Providence Bruins. During his term, he played mainly in home games through parts of the 1998-1999 and also the 1999-2000 season. Further, he was on the ice when Providence captured the 1999 Calder Cup.

As a youth,  he recreated with the Buffalo Regals minor ice hockey team in the 1980 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament.
