Brenda worked on the PIX11 News weeknights as an anchor at 6:30 with Kaity Tong. She officially joined the station in 2016 as its anchor. At first, she co-anchored in New York at WWOR-TV with Rolland Smith and then served with Sean Mooney, later on, labored with Ernie Anastos and finally with Harry Martin. Before she went to New York City, she labored in Nashville, Tennessee, and Columbus, Georgia as the first black anchor.
