Chesley McNeil is an American meteorologist currently working in Atlanta, Georgia as a weather forecaster at 11Alive television station. Besides his career in television, he has also taught both Earth Sciences courses as well as undergraduate and graduate-level Meteorology at different universities and colleges. As of now, he teaches at Kennesaw University.
Chesley is a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist and received the prestigious American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval. He is also won the broadcasting Emmy Awards together with other many professional honors and awards. Chesley is a member of the American Meteorology Society, the National Weather Association, and the National Association of Black Journalists.

After working at WRIC for nine good years, he left his role as an anchor of the 8 News at Noon newscasts and the weather on Good Morning Richmond.
