David Grann (Full name: David Elliot Grann) is a prominent American journalist, a best-selling author, and a New Yorker magazine staff writer. David’s first book titled The Lost City of Z: A Tale of Deadly Obsession in the Amazon was published by Doubleday in February 2009.
His articles have also been collected in several anthologies such as What We Saw: The Events of September 11, 2001, The Best American Crime Writing of 2004 and 2005 and The Best American Sports Writing of 2003 and 2006. He has also written for other papers including The Wall Street Journal, The Weekly Standard, The Atlantic, The Washington Post as well as The New York Times Magazine.
