Eddie Olczyk is a popular American journalist who is a retired center who played for 16 seasons in the National Hockey League with the Chicago Blackhawks, Toronto Maple Leafs, Los Angeles Kings, Winnipeg Jets, Pittsburgh Penguins, and New York Rangers. With the Rangers in 1994, he gained the Stanley Cup.
From June 2003 to December 2005, he served for the Pittsburgh Penguins as the head coach. In the United States Hockey Hall of Fame, Eddie was placed there on February 22, 2013. An American-born player tied Eddie with Phil Kessel for the second-longest point streak at 18 games in NHL history. Between 1989 to 1990 with Toronto, Eddie acquired this.
