Emily Hsiu-Ching Chang is an executive producer, journalist, and author. She works as an anchor and executive producer for Bloomberg Technology and Bloomberg Studio 1.0, Chang is also an author, she’s written the book entitled “Brotopia: Breaking Up the Boys’ Club of Silicon Valley”.

In 2010 Chang started working for Bloomberg Television, she then became an anchor of Bloomberg West based in San Francisco, California on February 28, 2011. The show is credited to original reporting along with interviews with different tech newsmakers like venture capitalists, start-up entrepreneurs, CEOs, and analysts.

The show was newly renamed Bloomberg Technology in October 2016. Chang has interviewed different top people like former Disney CEO Bob Iger; Twitter Co-Founder Jack Dorsey; former Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer;  Facebook; CEO Mark Zuckerberg; Apple CEO Tim Cook, former Google Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt; Alibaba Founder and Executive Chairman Jack Ma and Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg.

Previously Chang worked as an international correspondent for CNN in Beijing, while she was still there she reported on different stories like North Korea’s nuclear ambitions, the 2008 Olympics, and  President Obama’s first visit to Asia. Furthermore, she covered international news for CNN’s program known as “American Morning” in London.

Prior to that, Chang worked as a reporter at KNSD, NBC’s affiliate in San Diego, California. She won the regional Emmy awards five times and also filed reports for MSNBC. She served as a news producer, at NBC News in New York and her career began here.
