Gerry Callahan (Full name: Gerald “Gerry” Callahan) is an American radio show host popularly known for hosting a longtime morning program for a sports radio station known as WEEI-FM located in the Boston market. He kicked off his journalism career in 1983 by working for The Sun in Lowell as a sports reporter.
He went to work for Boston Herald in 1989. From 1994 to 1997, Gerry wrote for Sports Illustrated. While there, Gerry did some coverage for the magazine’s daily edition including the 1996 Summer Olympics. As of now, he serves as a host of a podcast that discusses sports, media, and politics alongside producer Matthew Carano.
