She began working as a Storm Tracker Weather for WBOC Team in August of 2018. Heidi always had a dream of becoming a meteorologist since she was a child. Heidi went to Bismarck, N.D., where she served at XK News and began her passion for meteorology immediately after her graduation. While there, Heidi forecast temperatures that were over 100 degrees above zero (in the summer) and 45 degrees below zero (in the winter).
There is a wide variation of weather that occurs in terms of temperature in North Dakota. For the two years she spent in the Midwest, it was a challenge in blizzards to tornadoes. This experience kept Keidi’s passion for the weather more wanting than before. From there, she switched to Delmarva and landed a job opportunity at WBOC as the newest meteorologist of the station. Her working area was close to home. She is an active member of “American Meteorological Society” and her main aim is to earn her certification with AMS.
