Meckles is an American News anchor and reporter currently serving for 9NEWS in Denver, Colorado. In addition, she also joined 9NEWS in February 2018. In addition, she came to Colorado from St. Louis, Missouri where she worked for more than three years at 9NEWS’ sister station, KSDK.
While serving at St. Louis, Jennifer covered protests and the unrest in Ferguson, major floods that left interstates and entire communities underwater, and the impact of the deadly heroin epidemic. Jennifer anchored weekend broadcasts and helped build the Storytellers team which celebrated the positive stories and heritage of St. Louis.
After her studies, she also served at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri. She did just about every job in the newsroom — starting with answering phones, editing videos, and even also learned how to run a live truck. In addition, she also began reporting and anchoring, Jennifer’s work in Mid-Missouri earned her several awards, including the Edward R.
