He began to work at ABC News based in Miami as a general assignment correspondent in the year 1982. There, he covers all ABC News programs including 20 / 20, Nightline, Good Morning America, and ABC World News.
Before joining ABC News, John worked in Chicago for WBBM-TV. Also, he worked as an anchor and reporter at KPRC-TV. Furthermore, he worked as a radio news editor at KTRH based in Houston from 1975 to 1978.
As of now, he hosts the What Would You Do? program that was created by Chris Whipple. What Would You Do is an American situational television program which features actors acting out scenes of illegal activity or conflict in public settings while recorded on hidden cameras that broadcasts on ABC since its start on February 26, 2008.
As the experiment goes on, psychologists, professors, teachers, or club members watch and discuss the video with John explaining and making conjectures about the bystanders’ response.
