Kaley hosted a Los Angeles-based television talk show when she was only 17 years of age. That experience finally leads her to KYMA in Yuma where she was foreseeing the weather and co-anchored the morning news. There, she received an Associated Press Award for investigative journalism.

Later, she went to serve XETV (FOX) in San Diego, KEYT (ABC) in Santa Barbara, and Phoenix where she foresaw the weather and also co-hosted Sonoran Living Live for ABC15 Arizona. She also joined 3TV in Phoenix wherein in Kaley alongside the years 2013 and 2014 she was voted as the Best  News Personality.
