Keith Bilbrey is a popular American tv host and country music disc jockey who presently works on live weekly radio as the announcer and TV show known as Music City Roots which airs every Wednesday night from the Factory on WWW.music roots.com.
He also works on Hippie Radio 94.5 as the host of the show called Roots Radio Hour which is located in Nashville. Before that, he was working at Nashville’s WSM as a disc jockey, the host of TNN’s Grand Ole Opry Live, and also he was an announcer on the Grand Ole Opry.
In 1982, he began announcing on the Grand Ole Opry after going to the tradition of legendary Opry announcers which are Ralph Emery, George D. Hay, Hairl Hensley, and Grant Turner.
He worked for different tv specials as an emcee such as the TNN/Music City News Awards, An Evening of Country Greats, Honky-Tonkin’ at the Wildhorse, and American Federation of Musicians’ 100th Anniversary Show. In 2006 is when Keith gained the lifetime award.
