She has reported on different stories like the Democratic National Committee’s removal of its own party chairwoman at the convention, the secret visit of Gov. Mike Pence to interview Donald Trump to become his running mate, and the election night bulletin that Hillary Clinton had admitted to Donald Trump, she has traveled to all 50 states and 48 countries through her reporting. For six president cycles, Kelly has covered them and her reporting duty from the  White House duty on President George W. Bush, President Barack Obama, and President Donald Trump.

Kelly’s career journey started in the 1990s in Cleveland, Ohio at WJW-TV  where she served as an anchor and reporter, she worked with Martin Savidge, a former NBC reporter, when WJW was still a CBS station in Cleveland.
