Ken began his broadcasting career in the fall of 1990 as a daily reporter and weekend meteorologist at WXVT in Greenville, eventually ascending to the position of Chief Meteorologist. Ken returned to Mississippi as the weekend meteorologist for WJTV News Channel 12 after a year at WVTM in Columbus, GA.

In January 2001, Ken joined the News Channel’s 12-morning crew. In both 2001 and 2010, the Associated Press named Ken the Best Weathercaster in Mississippi. Ken presently resides in Fondren, Mississippi, and enjoys gardening and canning.

He also enjoys tennis and volunteers with the ARF of MS; he has an ARF rescue dog, a CARA rescue dog, an adopted stray, and a senior cat.
