While there, Kim hosts The Audible show. He played with the National Football League Miami Dolphins from 1977 to 1985. After playing college football at San Jose State University, Kim was drafted in the first round of the 1976 NFL Draft by The Dolphins.

He started at the right defensive end for the Dolphins in Super Bowl XIX and Super Bowl XVII. Kim took part in a play in which he deflected a pass attempt from Joe Theismann, playing against the Washington Redskins in Super Bowl XVII. Kim became a broadcaster at WFOR-TV based in Miami after his retirement. He can be well heard on South Florida’s Paul and Young Ron Show on WBGG in Miami anytime NFL news breaks. Kim also took part in the morning team on WQAM-AM serving alongside Kenny Walker.
