Kris Ketz is an American journalist currently working at KMBC 9 (ABC affiliate) as a News anchor and reporter. When it comes to big stories, he always finds himself in the right place at the right time. Ketz joined KMBC-TV on July 4, 1983. He co-anchored the weekday editions at KMBC 9 News at 5 for more than 13 years before he was named as the co-anchor of KMBC 9 First News in October 2007. He is an Emmy-award-winning investigative reporter and anchor. In the year, Ketz captured a Midwest Emmy for the best anchor.
