Lawrence  O’Donnell (Lawrence Francis O’Donnell Jr) is a popular American television anchor, political commentator, host, and actor nowadays working at MSNBC as the host of a news and opinion program known as The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell which airs on weeknights.

Previously, he worked at NBC as the producer and writer for the series known as The West Wing ( he played the position of President Bartlet’s father in flashbacks). He also served at NBC as the executive producer and creator of the series known as Mister Sterling.

Also, he served as a recurring character on the HBO series known as Big Love. His political career started by serving as U.S. Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan as an aide. Furthermore, he labored for the Senate Finance Committee as a staff director.
