Logan comes to Eyewitness News from CBS stations in Grand Junction, Colorado, where he was the primary anchor and executive producer, and Columbus, Georgia, where he was the morning anchor. Logan’s career in the news, on the other hand, is a bit of a second act.
Logan packed his bags and relocated to New York City to return to school and pursue his boyhood passion of being a news anchor, after professions in teaching and hotel management, among others.
Logan interned at CUNY TV, the city-run educational programming network, as well as MSNBC during his stay in New York. Logan was able to cover both local and national politics, national sporting events with Olympic athletes, and help with coverage of NFL anthem demonstrations, the Southland, Texas, church shootings, and more in New York.
Logan was in Georgia for the nationally watched gubernatorial campaign between Stacy Abrams and Brian Kemp, where he participated in a media panel, reported on Steve Harvey’s “The Rock” camp for juvenile guys, and offered exclusive coverage during a citywide hunt for a missing father and kid.
Logan spent most of his time anchoring after moving to Colorado, although he was the first on the scene of a big wildfire that erupted during a tiny town’s peach festival. Logan likes baseball (Go Braves! ), skiing, hiking, basketball, and golf, in addition to seeking the greatest buffalo wings and chicken parmesan on the earth.
Originally from New York’s Hudson Valley, coming back to the East Coast has made him and his dog, Maddux, feel perfectly at home. Logan discovered just before relocating to Providence that his family is descended from a line of Wilbers (Wilbore/Wilbor) that stretches back to the establishment of Portsmouth and locations such as Little Compton.
