Aguirre made his television career debut at Telemundo in the year 1989 as a Spanish reporter and later made a jump to the local 10 as a reporter and as an anchor on weekend news. He moved to Los Angeles and became the correspondent for “Extra” in 1994. He also served as a lead correspondent for “A Current Affair” and as co-host of “Fox and Friends” before returning to South Florida.

Aguirre came to local 10 from “The Insider,” a nationally syndicated entertainment show and an Emmy Award-winning journalist. In September 2014, he joined “The Insider” from WSVN. He was an entertainment reporter for WSVN and the co-anchor of “Deco Drive.”
