The veteran meteorologist Finan is presently working at KCRA as the Chief Meteorologist. In 1991 he connected the KCRA weather team. Finan was brought up in New Hampshire, and he always had a intrest about the weather.
Following ,studying Meteorology at the University of Utah, Finan began his television career in Portland, Maine. Before coming to Sacramento, he used to work in Rochester, N.Y.  Finan has covered all of the major weather events since his arrival.He has covered floods in the winter, tornadoes in the spring and the heatwaves of summer, he has been here for all of it.
Finan was one of the first Meteorologists in the country to receave the status of Certified Broadcast Meteorologist from the American Meteorological Society.  Mark has been named ‘Best TV Weather Person’ by Sacramento Magazine every year since 2000.
