Later on, he was promoted by the station to be an anchor. After a while, Michael became the reporter for a syndicated video magazine show called Real TV.

Prior to joining NBC4, Michael worked as the general assignment reporter and weekend anchor at My13News. He previously served as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor at KCOP/KTTV duopoly in Los Angeles.
