Peter works at the City University of New York’s Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism as a professor of political science as well as journalism. Peter also serves as a political commentator for CNN, an editor-at-large at Jewish Currents, a fellow at the Foundation for Middle East Peace, and a contributor to The Atlantic.
Before that, he worked for The New Republic as an editor. Peter also contributed as a writer for Time, The New York Times, and New York Review of Books, among other periodicals. Moreover, he has authored and published three books.
