Rick Manning is a famous American broadcaster in Major League Baseball (MLB), who played for the Cleveland Indians from 1975-1983 and Milwaukee Brewers from 1983–1987. Since 1990 he has been working as a color commentator for the Cleveland Indian telecasts.

He played with the Indians for five more seasons before being traded over the 1983 season to the Milwaukee Brewers. On August 26, 1987, he hit a 10th-inning single defeating the Indians 1-0 as a Milwaukee Brewer. He deprived  Paul Molitor of one last chance to reach 40 games as he went 0-for-4 in the contest. He was booed by Brewer’s fans for this.
