Fukuzaki started his career for the Top 40 radio station KXPW in Hawaii. Soon after Rob began working part-time for KITV in Honolulu doing sports reporting. The broadcast featured the three top-ranked wrestlers from Hawaii, including Grand Champion Akebono and Grand Champion Musashimaru.
