Robert Hadlock is a popular American journalist and anchor currently working as the weeknight anchor on KXAN News at 5, 6, and 10 p.m. He joined KXAN in 1990 and he is the longest-serving news anchor on Austin television. Before, Robert worked as a television news anchor and reporter at KPLC Lake Charles based in Los Angeles, KCRA in Sacramento, KSLA based in Los Angeles, and KVUE in Austin.

Robert has also covered the late Pope John Paul II on three pilgrimages for KXAN, Cuba in 1998, St. Louis in 1999, and Toronto in 2002.

During his notable career at KXAN-TV, he has served on several community groups and organizations including Easter Seals-Central Texas, Hospice Austin, CASA of Travis County, Catholic Charities, the Greater Austin v. Michigan Chamber of Commerce, and Easter Seals-Central Texas.
