Sadanand Dhume is a popular American journalist and writer stationed in Washington D.C. Sadanand is the author of My Friend the Fanatic: Travels with a Radical Islamist, a travel narrative about the rise of fundamentalism in Indonesia, the world’s most famous Muslim country. He worked at the Asia Society as an inaugural Bernard Schwartz Fellow in 2007.
Sadanand writes a biweekly column on South Asia and India for WSJ.com since March of 2010. He focuses on foreign policy, economics, and the region’s politics.
